Schätzel 3000: Talk + Tasting
Regenerative farmers and custodians of a 650-year-old family estate, they have transformed their heritage winery into a future-oriented, international project. In their vineyards, biodiversity is expanded through complex syntropic systems, soil health is strengthened by grazing sheep, and their wines are crafted through natural processes and sensitive craftsmanship – some aged under flor for up to ten years without added sulfites. Their energetic team is united by a shared desire to bring people closer to nature and to imagine a healthier future. The visual world of Schätzel 3000 is shaped by Malte Müller.
The evening includes an informal presentation in EN, exchange and tasting of 3 different wines and a Riesling kombucha from 17-19:00. Tickets are 39€ p.p. and available in our online shop.

'Automatism in Nature' Workshop
Join 'Automatism in Nature' – a workshop where we use sticks to paint with ink! Together we explore the boundary between intention and instinct through the use of found objects and the depth of our imaginations.
Beginning with a collective walk in the park, each participant aims to find a stick or multiple. Back in Cafe Tiergarten, we relax with tea and dip into ink to work with our environment and group.

Book launch: The Shape of Recovery (Anastasiia Zhuravel)
The book explores recovery as a social, spatial, and political process that goes beyond physical reconstruction. Bringing together researchers, practitioners, and activists, the book reflects on post-crisis urban transformation with a particular focus on Ukraine, examining how cities, communities, and institutions reconfigure everyday life, governance, care, and ecological relations in times of profound disruption.

The community association Warenrunde: Bread
A joint "product tour" with Olga Graf and Korn.Labor will take a look at Berlin's current bread scene: origin, grain, craftsmanship, future – and of course, taste. The focus will be on international baking traditions with regional grains, techniques, memories, and the question of how bread can build cultural bridges.
Three Berlin bakers are among those participating:
– Mehmet Burak Soykan – Anatolian baking traditions & regional durum wheat
– Florian Domberger – uncompromising sourdough artistry & German classics
– Gian Dolder – traditional methods (wood-fired oven!) in an urban, contemporary context

Writing workshop Paulina Czienskowski
How do we manage to put our thoughts on paper? Sometimes all it takes is space and time to approach an answer. The motivations have long been dormant within us, in our perceptions, notes, and photos. Our own guiding thread is usually there; we just need to know how to recognize it. What do we want to remember, and why?

Release party: Mail art project "Hansaplatz" by Heinz Peter Knes & Heidi Specker
Hansaplatz is a 28-page A5 publication by Heinz Peter Knes and Heidi Specker, edited by Leonie Herweg / GROTTO. Knes and Specker present the urban space, their neighborhood, from a personal yet documentary perspective. The images are complemented by their conversation, which focuses on the writers Ingeborg Bachmann and Witold Gombrowicz – both of whom lived in the Hansaviertel district in the 1960s on scholarships from the Academy of Arts. The publication was designed by Lina Grumm (HIT). Production was financed through advertisements from local businesses, institutions, and shops. In early May, 1,300 copies were distributed unaddressed as mail art to all mailboxes in the Hansaviertel district – as a gift to the neighborhood and an invitation to see the district through different eyes.
